Membership-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration, protection and sustainable use and enjoyment of our irreplaceable bay and its watershed.  We work to improve the health of the bay ecosystem for all through education, conservation, research and advocacy.

Programs include:

Onset Bay Center

Everyone who lives on Buzzards Bay should have access to experience its natural wonders.  The Coalition's new Onset Bay Center offers high-quality on-the-water programs.  Through a variety of outdoor activities such as paddling, rowing, shellfishing, and shoreline ecology, the center helps community members of all ages build a personal connection with our local environment.

Bay Adventures

Free public programs from Fall River-Falmouth that include outdoor activities for families, like Saturday at the Sawmill, for Itty Bitty Explorers (kids under five), and for adults.  Bay Adventures aim to connect people to the Buzzards Bay Watershed and to foster environmental stewardship, curiosity and care for our beautiful Bay.  Some programs include Kayaking, Quahogging, Geocaching, Birding, Biking, Swimming, and Trail Runs.

School Experiential Trips and Bay Discovery Days

The Coalition is redefining the classroom by turning forests, beaches, and salt marches into resources for children to learn and develop a life-long love for Buzzards Bay.  From school experiential trips to the Acushnet Sawmill, East Beach and Cuttyhunk to supporting summer camps with 2-hour Bay Discovery Days, our outdoor exploration programs are fun, informative and affordable.

Scholarships and financial aid are available.
