Child & Family Services, Inc.'s mission is to heal and

strengthen the lives of children and families.  

Programs Offered: 

 

Caring Network (CN)
Helps children between the ages of 4-14 heal from the

trauma of witnessing violence in their home, school,

neighborhood, and community.

CCN Behavioral Health Community Partner Program (BHCP)
Behavioral Health Community Partner works with

Accountable and Managed Care Organizations to integrate

care and improve health outcomes for MassHealth members

with complex long-term and/or behavioral health needs.

Ages 18-63.

 

Community Service Agency (CSA)
Designed to help families coordinate the care for children and adolescents (up to 21 years of age) who are at risk of hospitalization.

 

Empowering Families for Success (EFS)
EFS is a closed Department of Mental Health (DMH) referred program that services children ages 3-19. This program is designed to meet the needs of families who have children with mental health problems.

 

In-Home Therapy (IHT)
Provides a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship with a team approach to work in the home with children/youth (up to 21 years of age) and their family members to promote healthier functioning within the family.

 

Therapeutic Mentoring (TM)
Offers structured one-to-one, strength-based support

services to youth (under the age of 21) for the purpose

of addressing daily living, social, and communication needs.

Adult Behavioral Health (ABH)
Provides a full range of treatment for mental health issues.

We offer individual, family, couples, and group therapy.

Child Behavioral Health (CBH)
Therapists and psychiatrists are specifically trained to work

with children and adolescents who take into account their

emotional, physical and developmental needs.  

Community Based Acute Treatment (CBAT)
A short term (7-10 days) residential treatment program for children ages 4-18 in need of acute crisis stabilization. This 9-bed unit offers psychiatry, clinical work, case management, and residential and educational services.

School Based Counseling Services
Services are provided in school, a setting that is both familiar and comfortable for students, as part of their regular school day.

Emergency Services (ES)
Operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week providing care for people of all ages in need of emergency mental health

intervention.

Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS)
A 9-bed unit that receives patients from our Emergency

Services or other Emergency Services programs in the area.

CCS is for patients who need support, monitoring, and/or

medication stabilization. Child & Family’s CCS services

adults ages 18 and up.

Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI)
Services are offered in the homes, schools, and other

community based settings for children and adults. 

Evaluations conducted with MassHealth youth (up to 20

years of age) involve clinical intervention and support

which can last up to seven days based on the needs of

the youth and family. MCI works collaboratively with existing

Children's Behavioral Health Initiative.
