About us:

We care about kids. We care about community.

Situated in the South End, Dennison Memorial Community Center has been in existence for nearly 150 years. All youth ages 6-16 who live in the south end of New Bedford are eligible for membership at Dennison free of charge. Through our programs and individualized services, our staff aim to promote solid values and self-esteem, while providing each child with the tools to develop and grow into a responsible adult.

Our Mission

We strive to improve the educational attainment and personal development of at-risk youth and families by providing education, recreation and intervention services in a safe environment.
